Shock reports appeared over the weekend that our very own intrepid blogger langlaisaparis was spotted shopping for English produce in a Paris supermarket! Passersby claim to have seen someone ogling the Oxo cubes in a supermarket teeming with real French produce.
Speaking yesterday, langlaisaparis denied the reports and accompanying photos were him, “I only buy French”, he said, “I can show you the receipts if you like. I only shop there for the free French football team fridge magnets they’re giving away”.
Oxo cubes. [Shudder].
Let’s just hope he was confused by the sign above the door. Or something.
Put it down to colour-blindness and we’ll say no more about it. He confused a flashing green pharmacie sign with the good old cross of St. George. An easy mistake when you have a splitting headache…
