I was really happy to discover this morning that one of my favourite blogs has been turned into a book. I admit I am late to the discovery but forgive me if I’m too busy to follow everything I like at all times.

Anyway, the Gentle Author’s blog Spitalfields Life is published by Saltyard Books (an imprint of Hodder & Stoughton). If you get the chance then the book launch is on the evening of Friday 2nd March, in Nicholas Hawksmoor’s towering masterpiece of Christ Church, Spitalfields.
