I had a three hour time differential in which to await the delivery. Four hours later the Ikea lorry arrives, at least a battered grafitti covered wagon rolls up. “Mon francais est pas bien”, I state; nevertheless the driver continues to tell me a story that ends in “c’est bizarre” – “Oui”, I reply, “C’est un petit package pour moi?”, I quickly respond, forgetting all the right words for boxes and packages. “Oui Chef”, he says.
